Sift

Licence terms

Seller. Sales are processed by Polar (polar.sh) as merchant of record. Sift is made by MICHAŁ WŁOSIK EFC, ul. Północna 16/5, 54-105 Wrocław, Poland, NIP (tax ID) 8942747708. Contact: hello@siftphotos.pro or our contact page.

1. Not affiliated with Google

Sift is an independent app. It isn't made, endorsed or supported by Google. Google Photos is a trademark of Google LLC. Sift works through the Google Photos website with your own sign-in. Google can change that website at any time, which may stop some or all of Sift working until we release an update, or for good.

2. Your licence

  • Free: use Sift's free features on any number of computers. The free version frees up to 1 GB of Google storage in total and backs up the first 500 photos and videos.
  • Pro: a one-time purchase, including updates. Personal covers 1 Google account and Family up to 5 Google accounts, each on any number of computers, in the Windows app and the Chrome extension. To move the licence to another account, deactivate it in Sift (Settings → Sift Pro) or in Polar's customer portal.
  • You may not resell, share publicly or crack licence keys.

3. Your photos and your account

  • Sift acts only on your own Google Photos account, when you tell it to.
  • Sift moves items to Google Photos' trash and never empties it. Google keeps trashed items for 30 days, during which you can restore them.
  • Keep your own backup (for example with Google Takeout) before large cleanups. Check what you select before removing it.
  • You are responsible for complying with Google's terms for your account.

4. Refunds

You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of purchase, for any reason, at hello@siftphotos.pro or through our contact page. If a change by Google stops Sift's main features working and we can't fix it, we'll refund purchases made in the previous 90 days.

5. Warranty and liability

Sift is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost data, lost photos or indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to the price you paid. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

6. Law

Polish law applies, without taking away the protection of the law of the country where you live as a consumer.
